Students are made aware of the Research Track during the interview process, and the program is announced to the first year medical students at Orientation and again the fall semester. The following procedures should be used for enrollment in the Research Track.

·         Interested students should submit an Enrollment Form (Word document) during their first year of medical school, or (for accepted students) in the summer prior to thei first year.

·         Enrolled students then choose a Research Mentor and Project.

·         All enrolled students will apply for a Fellowship Stipend to support their research during the summer months between Years 1 and 2.  This application will include a description of their planned research.
